Community Presbyterian Church offers community members pre-kindergarten class opportunities September through May. CPPK participates in the state funded Voluntary Pre Kindergarten (VPK) program for four-year-olds. Children who turn five by September 1st, but are not ready for kindergarten are welcome to be part of a VPK class as a full tuition student. Two and three year olds may attend two days (Tuesday, Thursday), three days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), or five days (Monday through Friday). VPK Fours and young fives can attend Monday through Friday.
Preschool class time for all ages is 8:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Extended care for two year olds is available until 1:15 p.m. Extended Care is available from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and after class until 3:45 p.m. for three, four, and five year olds. Children may be picked up at 1:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m. or 3:45 p.m.
We are a voluntary pre-kindergarten provider and include a Florida Gold Seal Program, accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, Inc., and licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Community Presbyterian Church pre-kindergarten also has a five star rating from the Early Learning Coalition of Duval in their Guiding Stars Quality Rating System.
CPPK Registration Information
Priority registration for Community Presbyterian Church members and for past or present CPPK families will begin in January for the following school year. Classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis FROM OUR WAIT LIST.
Please Note: There is a $25 charge to be on this list, and children on the Priority Wait List will be enrolled before the general public or walk-in registrations. Open enrollment for the general public will begin in February. You will receive notification of enrollment as soon as required forms and fees have been paid.
CPPK requires a school uniform consisting of a logo shirt with shorts, pants, jumper or skirt of your choosing. A school tote bag is also required. Shoes must be closed toe and fasten securely. Socks must be worn. Uniform shirts and tote bags are available for purchase only through CPPK. The $125 registration fee and applicable supply fee is payable at the time of registration and is not refundable.
