Community Presbyterian Prekindergarten

Our mission is to nurture in each child and understanding of Christ’s love that transforms their faith learning and growth.

“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52 NIV

About us: CPPK opened in 1959 and offers early childhood education in a Christian environment. The preschool is a ministry of Community Presbyterian Church. Our child-centered, play based curriculum allows children to make choices in a safe and healthy environment where they can explore and learn. Through this curriculum approach, children will develop a love of learning, good work ethics, and a love and respect of the world God created and those living in it. CPPK empowers children by building a foundation of safety, connections, and problem-solving skills that equip them with social-emotional and communication skills needed to manage themselves, resolve conflict, and develop healthy behavior
Our Program: CPPK serves children 2 through 5 years old. Children must be 2 by September 1st of the current school year. We are a part day, school year program that operates 8:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. August through May.
Our toddler and preschool 3 programs offer Monday-Friday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday registration options. The VPK and 4/5 year old program is M-F only and accepts the FL VPK voucher. Tuition is based on the days a child attends.
CPPK offers morning extended care for all ages as early as 8am. Extended day for toddlers is available until 1:15 p.m. Extended Care for preschool 3, preschool 4/5 and VPK is available until 1:15, 2:15 or 3:45.

Accreditation and Licensing: CPPK is honored to be accredited by The Association of Christian Schools International. ACSI provides a framework for continuous improvement and demonstrates a commitment to excellence in academics, spiritual formation, and operational integrity. We are licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families: License #CO4DU0117 and hold a 5 Star rating from the Early Learning Coalition of Duval in their Guiding Stars Quality Rating System.
